Q. Does Christopher Walken know about the Fan Club?
A. Yes he does, as does his agent. In August of 2001, after Mr. Walken appeared in "The Seagull" in New York, the Fan Club held a Reception for Mr. Walken, which he graciously attended. Since then, he has made contact with his fan club occasionally and also attended our Pre Oscar party in 2003.

Q. Is Christopher Walken married?
A. Yes, he has been married to Georgianne Walken since 1968. They met when they were both dancers in a touring production of West Side Story. Mrs. Walken is currently a very notable casting director, most famous for her work on 'The Sopranos'.

Q. Does Mr. Walken have any children?
A. No, he doesn't. He does have nieces and nephews.

Q. Why doesn't Mr. Walken have any children?
A. At the age where having children would have been considered, Mr. Walken and his wife were both traveling a lot. With their busy careers in their 20s, 30s and 40s, children just never came into the picture.

Q. Is Christopher Walken really Sicilian?
A. No, even though Chris has been cast as a an Italian-American on more than one occasion, he has no Italian blood as far as we know. His mother is from Scotland and his Father was from Germany.

Q. Does Christopher Walken have any religious or political affiliations?
A. He does not discuss these things publicly. He stated that he was Methodist in one interview, but doesn't really talk about religion or politics.

Q. Does Christopher Walken have any affiliations with any charities?
A. Not publicly. He really loves cats, so we assume that he probably gets involved with cat-related charities from time to time. There was a campaign shortly after September 11th to raise enthusiasm and tourism for New York City. Mr. Walken did an ad for this campaign dressed as Santa. He also did a voice for a firetruck in a short film about September 11th.

Q. Why does Christopher Walken always play menacing roles, can't he do anything else?
A. Well, he doesn't always play these roles! People who ask this obviously don't know his body of work. If you look at his filmography, he has done many different roles. He has played a stoic farmer from the 1910s, a janitor, a record producer, a 1960s family man, and even a cat in a children's film! If asked, Walken always says that he gets menacing parts because movies are a big gamble and the producers want to make sure they have the right person for the job, so many actors will get typecast in this way. He also attributes these parts to the way he looks, his pale skin and sunken eyes can always translate into intimidating. He also has an interesting way of speaking, which makes him a bit unusual and a favorite for strange characters.

Q. Is Walken scary or strange in real life?
A. Not really. Being raised in showbusiness, Walken often says he is from another planet. When we met him, he seemed like an Earthling as far as we could tell. He is actually a very nice person; charming, charismatic and with a wry sense of humor. If you expect him to be intimidating, then you might interpret him that way. Interviewers are notorious for this. Maybe it is good to keep the reputation going, but his fans know him as friendly.

Q. I have a special gift or message for Mr. Walken, can I send it through the Fan Club?
A. We simply do not have time or permission to filter and gather mail for Mr. Walken. It is best to send it to him on your own behalf. All mail that is sent to Mr. Walken does get received and read. Responses are extremely rare.

Q. Can the Fan Club check to see if Mr. Walken received something I sent?
A. Again, this is a request that would simply be impossible. Mr. Walken receives fan mail daily and to confirm the receipt of a particular letter or parcel would be extremely difficult. If you sent it to the right address, you can be assured that it was received.

Q. How do I get Christopher Walken's autograph?
A. If you are a collector of autographs, a good source to find autographed
photos is ebay.com. Mr. Walken does not regularly answer fan mail, nor does his publicist respond to requests for autographs. Most people have received his autograph by meeting him in person. You can send fan mail to Christopher at the following address; Christopher Walken c/o Toni Howard- ICM, 8942 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills CA 90211 USA but so far, no one has received an autograph via mail.

Q. Can I contact Christopher Walken via email or does he have a personal website?
A. Mr. Walken does not use a computer at all as far as we know. He has said in interviews that he does not know how to turn one on. There are some people on the internet who will claim to be Mr. Walken, but the real Mr. Walken has yet to set foot in cyberworld.

Q. How can I meet Christopher Walken?
A. Not everyone has this opportunity, unfortunately. If you are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, you may very well get your chance. The Fan Club will hold future events and always invite Mr. Walken, however, there is no guarantee he will attend. The best chance may be to attend a play he is doing or go to a Film Festival that he is attending and wait along with the other fans after the performance. We strongly discourage fans from breaking any laws or invading Mr. Walken's privacy. He's a person too!

Q. Does Mr. Walken have and brothers or sisters?
A. He has two brothers, Ken and Glenn. Glenn is the youngest and Ken is the oldest. They both were in showbusiness as youngsters but have since moved on to other careers.

Q. Are Mr. Walken's parents still living?
A. Last we heard, Mr. Walken's mother Rosalie is still living. Sadly, his father, Paul Walken passed in early 2001 and was in his late 90s.

Q. I heard Christopher Walken had something to do with Natalie Wood's death. Is that true?
A. Natalie Wood died in a tragic accidental drowning. Mr. Walken was on the yacht the evening she drowned. Her husband Robert Wagner and the boat's captain were also present. Apparently, she must have gone out to adjust the dingy or perhaps go ashore by herself and fell in. She had been drinking and was not a good swimmer. Other than being at the scene of this tragedy, Mr. Walken had nothing to do with her death. There have been rumors of foul play, but after thorough investigation, the death was labeled as accidental drowning.

Q. Is Christopher Walken planning to retire?
A. As far as we know, Mr. Walken hopes to never retire. He was once quoted that he hopes to be 90 years old and hosting Saturday Night Live. He doesn't have kids or other hobbies, so he enjoys work most of all and has made it his life. We certainly hope he keeps going too!

Q. I saw a music video with Christopher Walken, what is that and how can I get a copy?
A. The video you probably saw was "Weapon Of Choice" by Fat Boy Slim.
