Phone call - he indicates he will be working on "Balls Of Fury" over summer. Ping pong is discussed at length. He will not need to learn how to play the sport as they will use visual effects for the film. He says to "tell my friends hello"

Phone conversation. Chris called to thank the fan club for the birthday gift this year. He mentioned that he is looking forward to filming "Click" this summer and has been invited to attend the Dubrovnick International Film Festival.

Dear Fans,
It was a busy year and then it wasn't, both of which is fine. Until New
Year's Eve (10:30pm) of '03, I was shooting Around The Bend ( comes out
Oct-Nov ) in New Mexico. Then, in the winter, John Turturro's Romance
And Cigarettes with the great Susan Sarandon and James Gandolfini.
Then, in the Spring, a nice job with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn on The
Wedding Crashers. In L.A. and some beautiful locations in Maryland.

Then came the not so busy part. I finished The Wedding Crashers in
early June and now it's mid August, and here I am unemployed. I'd throw
myself out my basement window but I'm afraid I'd break my nose. Ha ha.

It's been a good summer tho' very hot and rainy in the North East. I
read some good books and watched a lot of Charlie Rose. Thanks, Candy
Rosenbaum, for the piece about Rutger Hauer. I liked him immediately. He's an amazing actor and an experienced sailor. I hope to work with him again.

This fall, I hear there are some job possibilities but there will be
press for Around The Bend and various things.

I hope you are well and thriving and thanks, Candy, for putting all this
together.

The cats are well and best to you all.

Phone conversation. Chris is filming Wedding Crashers and is getting ready to do press tour for Stepford Wives. Wishes Candy a happy Mother's Day and sends thanks to his fans. Says he cannot reveal his own mother's age, but says that she is close to 100.

Dear Candy,
Good to speak with you. As you know, I am doing Stepford Wives right now. Having a good time to go to work each day with such wonderful actors. We play. Work is fun and I get to go home at nite.

Recently, I did Man On Fire. Directed by Tony Scott and starring Denzel Washington. My part only took a couple of weeks, but again, a pleasure to work with such people. And, I like Mexico City a lot. A real city.

Rundown is coming out soon. I will do some publicity for it. I hope I get to see it first. That's all for now. I hope you are well. Greetings and thanks to my fans.
